Andrew Spade is a Lancaster County native, graduating from Ephrata Senior High School in 1991. After obtaining a degree in History/Political Science from LeTourneau University in Longview, TX, he attended law school at Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, PA. While obtaining his degree, he worked for a general practice firm in New Holland. He graduated Cum Laude in 2000.
Upon graduation from law school Andy accepted a position with the Lancaster County Office of the Public Defender. In that role he assumed many leadership responsibilities. An accomplished trial attorney, he has been certified to represent clients facing the death penalty in capital cases. With over fifteen years of experience in criminal defense, Andy has handled thousands of cases with a myriad of issues, including homicide trials. He has developed a reputation for his knowledgeable, uncompromising, client-centered representation.
In 2016, Andrew entered general legal practice by joining the Mejia Law Group. He focuses his practice on Criminal Defense, DUI and Traffic Law, Juvenile Law, Civil Litigation and Wills and Estates. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Lancaster County Bar Association and Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Andy lives in Lititz, PA with his wife and children. He is an active member of Grace Church in Lititz. He is also active in local politics, serving as the Area Chairman of the Warwick Area Republican Committee and volunteering for numerous election campaigns.
